City Furniture is hiring Warehouse Associates for our Plant City Distribution Center (3307 South Frontage Road, Plant City, FL 33566). APPLY NOW!

The primary function of this position is to spray and wrap furniture safely and efficiently so it can be delivered to our external customers. This position is also responsible for coaching, mentoring and following all standardized work.  This position is also responsible for repairing bedding, running furniture in/out of the department, and processing damaged product.

• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds and unload product utilizing proper equipment and material-handling techniques to minimize damages

• Stages products in accurate zones and utilizes proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages

• Examines product for damages, documents reasons for damages, notifies supervisor

• Verifies SKU’s and product information to ensure bar code accuracy and reduce inventory variances, puts away product in appropriate location

• Rewraps products

• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area

• Provides total customer satisfaction through interaction with associates in all departments

• Conducts on-the-job training for new associates

• Completes other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends

• Heavy lifting required
