Job Description

City Furniture has a wonderful opportunity in your area for our Photo Studio as a Video Editor/Camera Operator. The primary function of this position is to edit video content for the City Furniture brand to be used in social media, internal corporate communication and television outlets. The Video Editor will also, at times, capture video content to be included in compelling, high quality, long and short form applications.

Responsibilities:

Our Video Editor/Camera Operator Creates final edits of video projects from original RAW footage for internal and external use, including Marketing, Social, Philanthropic & TV. Responsible for applying motion graphics and audio tracks to video edits. This position is also responsible for logging footage, video storage, initial folder taxonomy and RAW footage back-ups. Ensures the final delivery of video projects to production manager for final quality assurance and distribution. In addition the person in this position will act as back up camera operator for internal and external video projects. Assists in filming projects for Marketing, Social, Philanthropic & TV related video shoots. Remains current with industry standards and equipment updates.

Job Requirements

Work Experience - 4+ years of field experience with proven ability to edit, and film creative video content please be sure to attach a reel or portfolio. Excellence in developing and executing concepts, from creative beginning to final production. Expertise as a short-form video storytelling with a contemporary and creative editing style.

 

 

Computer Knowledge and Skills - Below is the list of computer programs and software applications that are required for this position:

  • Adobe Audition
