We are looking for a unique, career-minded candidate to join our team as a Sales Showroom Senior Manager in our City Furniture/Ashley HomeStore showrooms. The primary function of this position is to increase showroom sales, Customer satisfaction and Associate satisfaction while reducing unnecessary expenses through strategic initiatives and effective daily management.
Responsible for taking care of Guests in the showroom, their Sales Associate, and where they are in the sales cycle. Drives sales, services, sleep category, finance, and customer satisfaction. Ensures Associates are following up with Guests during downtime and making prospecting calls. Ensures all selling associates are complying with standardized work (prospecting, role play, answering phones, etc). Spends one-on-one time coaching and developing Showroom Managers and Sales Associates to drive their success and the success of the Showroom.
Identifies and solves problems daily in the showroom. Removes barriers for Associates and helps to reduce waste. Sets and accomplishes goals using Hoshin. Participates in Kaizens that support the organization’s goals. Conducts Ultimate Update meetings and consistently communicates the Company’s progress to Hoshin initiatives and goals and leads the team towards these goals. Reviews KPI and other informational boards. Has daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to drive performance, problem-solve, and coach. Completes Regional Director and Vice President Showroom visits. Participates in Organizational Strategic Planning. Attends corporate management meetings and quarterly Hoshin reviews.
Opens and closes the showroom. Strategically completes the schedule to ensure proper coverage at all times in the Showroom. Analyzes goals and reviews any necessary changes with the Regional Director. Completes and conducts IDPs and Performance Improvement Programs with Associates. Responsible for personnel management, performance management, and handling HR issues in the showroom, as needed. Responsible for all showroom physical resources including interior and exterior of our facilities along with proper merchandising and cleanliness of showrooms. Responsible for Associate and Customer safety. Completes physical audits of the Showroom appearance, cleanliness and merchandising continually throughout the month to maintain World Class Appearance for the Guests. Implements new processes/changes within the Showroom, and drives results.
