We have a wonderful opportunity to join our City Furniture Marketing team as a Retail Space Planner. The Retail Space Planner is accountable for planning product layout and collection transitions in City Furniture and Ashley Furniture Home Store showrooms and assisting in determining optimal product assortment. In addition, this position is well suited for a candidate who is detail oriented and an analytical thinker, with an aptitude for working collaboratively on multiple projects and building relationships across the organization.

The Retail Space Planner is responsible for the creation of product layout in AutoCAD for showroom remerchandising and new store opening projects utilizing visual and merchandising standards. Our Retail Space Planner Conducts quarterly evaluations of product lineup per showroom, collaborating with the buying office, visual merchandising and sales GM’s.

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required

Education - Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline required

Work Experience - 1-2 years of related experience

Computer Knowledge and Skills - Below is the list the computer programs and software applications that are required for this position:

  • AutoCAD knowledge preferred
  • Microsoft Office Applications - Outlook, Word, Excel
