What This Role Is…

As a Project Manager (contract), the primary function of this position is to manage the execution of commercial sales projects, including the full installation of vacation rental properties and builder models. The Project Manager (contract) is also responsible for managing install partner relationships, coordinating vendors and giving direction to on-site teams. Your ability to manage teams, adhere to timelines, and problem-solve will be instrumental in the continued success of the Contract Sales team at CITY Furniture.

What You’ll Do…

As a Project Manager (contract) your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Execute the installation of large vacation rental properties, which includes but is not limited to furniture, accessories, art, blinds and curtains and TVs, by leading an on-site team of coordinators, designers and service techs 
  • Identify and address any challenges or obstacles during the installation process, implementing creative problem-solving techniques to maintain project momentum. 
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure all product is ordered and delivered on time 
  • Conduct pre- and post-install audits and thorough quality checks to ensure all installations meet company standards and client expectations. 
  • Prepare accurate and detailed daily report-outs, documenting progress, adjustments, and any missing/reselected items requiring attention. 
  • Serve as the point of contact for partners once installation begins 

Additional duties and responsibilities as a  Project Manager (contract):

  • Organizes and arranges supplies and meals for on-site teams 
  • Conducts on-site meetings to provide direction to team members 
  • Obtains and shares with the team all deadlines, occupancy reports and owner walk schedules 
  • Facilitates the review and approval of design changes

What’s Required…

  • Education & Work Experience:
    • Required Bachelor from an accredited institution.
    • Preferred 3-4 years experience in project management
  • Work Environment & Schedule:
    • Up to 40 hours/week
    • Must live in/near Panama City Beach 
    • Monday-Friday / occasional weekends
    • Hybrid - remote and travel to job site
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Lifting 20 lbs, working at high heights, set-up, bending, Prolonged sitting, standing, walking
  • Technology Requirements:
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e., Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.)
    • Google Suite (i.e., Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
    • iPads and Macs
