Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity to join our CITY Furniture marketing team. As the Photography Digital Technician, this position acts as a liaison between the retouching team and the photo studio and is responsible for ensuring image standards are met on set. This position works cross-functionally with Art Department managers, photographers and retouchers to ensure studio and post production standards and processes are consistently maintained, including color targets, file preparation and output, image uploads, and digital asset maintenance. This position is responsible for processing the raw image files produced in the photo studio and on location shoots.

This position is also responsible for creating image file names and maintaining metadata structure. You will adjust image exposure and do light retouching of environmental photos before handing off to retouch team. You will create contact sheets for all environmental photo shoots. You will crop all photos to current standards and drop into the correct folders. You will conduct image handoff audits and reporting. You will also do digital asset management duties.

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required

Education - High school diploma

Work Experience and Skills - 2 to 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced Marketing/Studio environment

Computer Knowledge - Below is the list of the computer programs and software applications that are required for this position:

?Raw Image Processes, Creative Image Editing and best practices while working with digital image assets

?Capture One

?Photoshop

?Lightroom

?Adobe Acrobat
