What This Role Is…

As an Outlet Sales Associate, the primary function of this position is to perform the steps of the sale cycle by greeting and qualifying guests, presenting products and services, while handling objections and closing the sale. The Outlet Sales Associate is also responsible for helping to keep the Outlet merchandise priced and organized to increase sales. Your contributions will ensure the success of the showroom sales goal attainment, while improving the efficiency of the DC’s to manage clearance inventory levels at CITY Furniture.

What You’ll Do…

As an Outlet Sales Associate your primary responsibilities will be to:

? Guest Service (Face to Face) (45%)

? Merchandising/Pricing (25%)

? Customer Account Management (10%)

? Personal Business Development (5%)

Additional duties and responsibilities as an Outlet Sales Associate

? Perform Sales Administrative Duties (5%)

? Team Involvement (5%)

? Professional Development (5%)

? Adhere to all assigned Standard Work and Role and Responsibilities for your role.

What’s Required…

 

· Education & Work Experience:

o High-School/Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

o Type of experience in or from a related field preferred.

 

· Work Environment & Schedule:

o 5 days a week / Nights, weekends, holidays as part of a flexible and accommodating full-time 40 hour per week schedule.

o Able to work a combination of 2 shifts: 9am-5:30pm, 1pm-9:30pm

o Minimal Travel- Training sessions, Occasional Event Help at other locations.

 

· Physical Requirements:

o Prolonged standing, walking, as well as light physical demands merchandising and presenting products to customers.

 

· Technology Requirements:

o Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.)

o Proficient using Apple Apps, and General PC experience. Learning management systems.

 

· Certifications / Licenses

o Driver’s License.
