Job Description

As a Merchandising Coordinator, we have a wonderful opportunity to join City Furniture's Marketing Team. As a Merchandising Coordinator you will coordinate and support the merchandising team in product transitions and initiatives within City Furniture and Ashley Home Store. This position is also responsible to help drive business results through product marketing initiatives for both City and Ashley brands.

What you’ll do

As a Merchandising Coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Creates the promotional product for each umbrella and door buster event.
  • Maintains to the log of inquiries via concrete database system to ensure timely turn around on store requests.
  • Creates tag assets for all new product introductions
  • Follow standard to the buy folder process
  • Manages pricing projects that require retail price updates
  • Manages Master Group process
  • Collaborate with all Associates to ensure the success of the organization.

Schedule: Monday through Friday-hybrid

Job Requirements

What we are looking for.

Furniture experience is not a must to be exceptional in this role! If you work in retail, have merchandising background and you are detail oriented, analytical thinker, with an aptitude for working collaborative on multiple projects and building relationships across the organization, this role may be your perfect fit!

Below are the required skills & qualifications for this role:

  • 1 to 2 years of related experience of Visual Merchandising, Database Management
  • Microsoft Office Applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, InDesign
  • Highly organized with an attention to detail
  • Works independently
  • Demonstrate consistent and high-quality work ethic
  • Maintains a positive attitude; works with a sense of urgency; demonstrates timely and thoroughly execution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible with an ability to handle multiple tasks where priorities shift with the demands of the business
  • Valid FL Driver’s License
