Job Description

CITY Furniture is searching for a Marketing Manager. The primary focus of the Marketing Manager is managing all facets of marketing including, but not limited to, branding, promotional campaign planning and execution, market research, customer analysis and event planning. The Marketing Manager must be a strategic thinker and planner to effectively manage the marketing, advertising, and promotional activities of CITY Furniture and its subsidiaries.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of marketing professionals within the marketing department. Their duties include relaying information between upper management and department employees regarding plans and daily procedures. The also oversee the project management and process of marketing campaigns to promote business products and services. They also coach and develop more junior associates.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Operations - Defines, plans, and executes a project while identifying and solving for organization-specific roadblocks that hinder optimal marketing performance/productivity.

Marketing Planning - Assists with marketing campaign branding objectives. Manages and coordinates marketing, advertising, and promotional staff and activities. Prepares marketing strategies alongside the Marketing Director to accomplish business goals and support organizational initiatives. Collaborates with Creative Team and E-Commerce team to build synergistic marketing plans across mediums.

Collaboration and Teamwork - Supports team by sharing and effectively facilitating the exchange of resources/knowledge to execute shared responsibilities and goals successfully.

Reporting & Analysis - Monitors, reviews, and reports on all advertising activities. Reports on ROI and key performance metrics. Understands where to access key/important data, organizes it effectively, and integrates multiple disparate streams of data to develop and communicate actionable insights.

Market Research - Analyzes market trends and competitive landscape and recommends changes to marketing as well as opportunities based on analysis and feedback.

The Marketing Manager position is required to work a flexible 45-hour work week Monday through Friday in a corporate office or remote environment, minimal weekend or holiday hours may be required with advance notice. The position requires limited light lifting upon request. Minimal travel to showrooms for events may be required with advanced notice.

Job Requirements

 Education - Bachelor’s degree is required, Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, and/or communications is preferred.

 Work Experience - Five (5)+ years of experience in marketing.

  • Working knowledge in CRM, Project Management Platforms and Analytics Tools Certifications and Licensure -
