The Managing Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations is responsible for driving marketing strategy development and operational management to strengthen the company’s market position and achieve desired business goals. This individual is directly responsible for the day to day operations, prioritization and strategy development for the brand including promotions, content plan, marketing operations process and overall growth plans to drive measurable results in brand awareness, customer engagement and acquisition. This leader integrates strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration to execute on marketing strategy, drive innovation and business results.

Collaboration is a key to success - In this role you will work with key stakeholders across Marketing, IT, Sales and Merchandising, to collectively bridge the entire funnel from brand-to-demand. Helping to get quality work done, at scale and in an efficient manner across campaigns, content distribution and program optimization based on real-time data. He/She will manage our budgeting and planning process as well as map programs to marketing capacity. He/She knows how to capitalize on data and technology to fulfill marketing objectives and organizational goals. This leader possesses experience in developing, implementing and analyzing marketing strategies at scale. He/She is an overall inclusive leader with the ability to communicate and relate both up and down the corporate organization

Work Environment Summary -  This position is required to work a flexible 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, in a hybrid corporate office/home environment.

  • Marketing Research, Strategy Development and Management
  • Marketing Operation - Improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness by establishing and applying a rigorous approach to operational processes.
  • Training, Support & Development- Build, lead and nurture a growing team of high performing marketers who deliver business impact and set a high standard of strategic, creative and executional excellence through coaching and capacity-building.
     

The Managing Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations reports to the SVP of Marketing and is a member of the Marketing Department

Financial Transaction Responsibilities: This position is responsible for approving financial transactions and preparing financial transactions for approval by others (i.e., process invoices, etc.).

Decision Making Responsibilities: This role is responsible for decision making while working alongside Senior Leadership to manage all strategic decisions within the Marketing Department.

Job Requirements

Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or relevant field is required, Masters preferred or equivalent experience.

Work Experience - 10-15 years proven work experience in marketing, 5 years in a senior level marketing position

  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • In depth knowledge of market research
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Experience in selecting, implementing, and operating integrated sales and marketing technology stacks.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, marketing automation, lead, and account-based marketing
  • Excellent project, analytical, and budget management skills. A data-driven mindset with a passion for testing and measuring results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills. Able to present executive summaries of actionable insights and recommendations internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, data driven and proven strategic, analytical and creative skills
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing insight-driven brand operations and management programs
  • Highly collaborative and adept at leading and influencing cross-functional teams effectively, both internally and with external partners and agencies

Computer Knowledge and Skills - Below is the list the computer programs, software applications and skills that are required for this position:

  • Marketing technology stack experience for Marketing automation, Brand Monitoring, Outreach and Promotion, Forums and Community
  • Marketing Operations platforms - workflow management systems

**Valid Florida Driver’s License is required.
