Managing Director of Digital Commerce - Remote (FL-based candidates only)
What this role is
The Managing Director of Digital Commerce is responsible for overseeing City Furniture’s eCommerce strategy to drive sales growth via Cityfurniture.com. This role is responsible for the management and development of eCommerce team, digital experience, and content. This includes managing all aspects of the digital business including, business planning, content strategy and development, online marketing, website design, and ensuring the best digital customer experience. This position must be a collaborative leader that is ultimately responsible for driving the overall eCommerce strategy, while partnering with relevant teams across the organization to enhance the online user experience, maximize usability, performance, and ROI.
The Managing Director of Digital Commerce stays abreast of industry trends, current and emerging ecommerce, and digital marketing shifts to ensure best in class Customer Experience at all times. This role is responsible for working with all Digital and cross-functional Teams; Sales, IT, Merchandising, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver the Digital Strategic Roadmap Plan and to improve sales, engagement, and conversion. This position demonstrates ability to think globally/strategically, frames new and complex issues - a serious thought leader that can make strategic choices and help focus the organization on the most critical and value-added activities while leveraging industry best practices, benchmarking, trends, and competitive intelligence.
The Managing Director of Digital Commerce must be an overall inclusive leader with the ability to communicate and relate both up and down the corporate organization.
