Day-in-the-life:

  • The KC Café Team Lead will drive customer experience and promote the success of the KC Café and Wine Bar throughout the organization
  • Effectively manage and problem solve while finding creative ways to exceed the monthly goal, as well as increase sales in the KC Café
  • Manage inventory for multiple locations, as well as provide coaching/development to the team
  • Assign monthly duties and monitor the cafés’ overall appearance by visiting the various cafés and completing audit checklists
  • The Team Lead will also submit orders and maintain proper inventory using "first in, first out" process
  • Prepare and serve café menu items
  • Monitor café equipment and schedule repairs as needed

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as part of a flexible and accommodating full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule
  • One to five years of experience within hospitality, café, or restaurant environment
  • Time Management
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Coaching skills
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Customer Service Focus
  • Attention to Detail
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel to various locations (50% travel)
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required; additional languages such as Creole, Portuguese, etc. are a plus

Computer Knowledge - Below is the list of computer programs and software applications that are required for this position:

  • General PC
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Square experience preferred, not required
