We have a wonderful opportunity to join the City Furniture Human Resources team. The primary purpose of the Human Resources Business Partner is to provide direct support in Associate Relations, Recruiting and Risk Management for our West Coast (Naples and Fort Myers) locations.
Managing candidates throughout the recruiting process, including screening, qualifying, conducting interviews, and presenting job offers
Executing and/or tracking leaves of absences, unemployment, associate appeals, employment verifications, new hire paperwork, terminations, and other changes in status for Associates
Participating in development of recognition programs that meet corporate initiative goals and reflect company values
Facilitating New Hire Orientation
Handling reports of Associate and Customer incidents (workers’ compensation and general liability claims)
Participating in the development of training programs
Ensuring regulatory compliance of programs such as FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, etc., as well as other applicable state and federal laws.
Conducting investigations in response to Associate Relations issues and recommending/ implementing courses of action based on investigation results
