We have a wonderful opportunity to join our CITY Furniture technology team. As the Functional QA Analyst, the primary function of this position is to work with the Automation QA team to design, plan, and manually execute the test scenarios. The Functional Tester QA provides integration support for third party software and participates in the continuous development of initiatives for CITY.

This position is also responsible for developing testing strategy and user accepting testing test plan. You will prioritize test scenarios and execute according to plan. You will develop and document step-by-step test cases based on the software requirements elicited by business analysts and software developers. You will plan, test, and implement all software changes resulting from work orders. You will identify, log, and track defects. You will provide integration and user support with third party software. You will also configure third party software to operate optimally on CITY Furniture’s system.

Job Requirements

Education - Associate or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field

Work Experience and Skills - Three (3+) years of experience building, maintaining, and executing testing plan

Computer Knowledge - Below is the list of the computer programs and software applications that are required for this position:

  • Ability to conduct manual testing
  • Experience writing test plans and test case
  • Understanding of both REST and SOAP web services using Postman and SOAP-UI
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Gherkin and X-Ray are a plus
