We have a wonderful opportunity to join our CITY Furniture Ecommerce team. As the Ecommerce Testing and Optimization Manager, the primary function of this position will be responsible for the coordination, execution, and analysis of optimization efforts for City Furniture’s website (Cityfurniture.com). The Manager will strive to enhance the web experience by planning, implementing, analyzing tests, and optimization efforts that ultimately drive increased engagement, conversions and revenue. This position will collaborate with Analytics on web analytics implementation, tag management, and testing/personalization campaign management. The role will work cross functionally with Tech, Analytics, and other departments.

This position is also responsible for leading and managing test projects from ideation to asset collection/building, test building, and execution. You will also analyzes and derive actionable insights of website audience, website traffic, traffic drivers, and website usage and trends to develop a testing roadmap.

Job Requirements

Education - Bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing, business, or other analytical field)

Work Experience - Four (4) to Five (5) years of related experience

Computer Knowledge - Below is the list of computer programs and software applications that are ideal for this position:

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Google G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides)

Collaboration Tools (Zoom, Slack, JIRA)

Strong working knowledge of web analytic tools, preferably Google Analytics

Experience utilizing testing platforms, such as Monetate, Optimizely, Google Optimize and Adobe Target

 

Additional Skills-

Prior eCommerce experience with a focus on web analytics, testing and site optimization, including A/B and multivariate testing methodologies

Prior retail experience a plus

Experience working in an Agile environment a plus

Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (not necessarily to write code but to be able to recognize element selectors for targeting and debugging) a plus

Familiarity with various web and mobile debugging tools

Understanding of application architecture and UI/UX design

Ability to manage and oversee large testing initiatives, while managing scope and timelines

Outstanding attention to detail, and time / project management skills

Solid data analytical/data interpretation skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets

Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to a wide range of audiences, in both written and verbal communications

Must be a self-starter showing a high level of initiative. Positive "can-do" attitude.

Ability to work well in a team environment sharing ideas, workflow, and processes
