eCommerce Content Operations Analyst
Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity to join our CITYFurniture Digital team. As the eCommerce Content Operations Analyst, the primary function of this position is to develop end-use and focus on creating content for website to increase engagement and drive online sales. This position is also responsible for working cross-functionally with Digital, creative, Merchandising and Development to optimize on content on the website.


Responsibilities include:


  • Manage the creative development process for eCommerce content, including:
  • Developing creative briefs
  • Ensuring creative meets brand standards and eCommerce requirements
  • Attending reviews with key stakeholders
  • Liaise with Creative Project Management to track requests and align on timing
  • Collaborate with Merchandising to understand new product launches, promotions, top-selling SKUs, and web-specific needs
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing to support campaign efforts
  • Participate in content planning and strategy sessions
  • Leverage insights to leverage the path to purchase and user-journey to inform content strategy
  • Conduct monthly content audits to identify opportunities to update or optimize existing content
  • Build and publish landing pages and content types in the content management system (CMS)

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required

Education - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field

Work Experience - Two (2) to Three (3) years of related experience within a retail environment


Computer Knowledge and Skills - Below is the list of computer programs and software applications that are ideal for this position:


  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Google G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
  • Collaboration Tools (Zoom, Slack, InVision)
  • Strong working knowledge of web analytic tools, preferably Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with content management systems, such as dotCMS
  • Additional Skills -
  • Prior experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or brand management preferred; retail experience a plus
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines to successful completion
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills; strong attention to detail; strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills; strong organizing and planning skills with proven ability to multi-task; analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across business audiences
  • Must be a self-starter showing a high level of initiative. Positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment sharing ideas, workflow, and processes
