We have wonderful opportunity to join City Furniture's Commercial Sales team as a Design Associate.

The primary function of this position is to hone design skills on a variety of projects that can include models, vacation rentals, staging to help design projects for large volume clients. The responsibilities of this position include producing unique interior designs for builders and developers to increase overall revenue for the showrooms and the company this role will provide organizational back-up for the Junior Designer on all aspects of interior design projects.
The Design Associate must be highly creative, self- motivated, and use cumulative knowledge in learning the trade of interior design from beginning to end.

The Design Associates' first 90 days will include a detailed new hire orientation, initial training plan, and a personalized development plan to help you reach your career goals.

Job Requirements

Education - Associate’s Degree in Design is required or Bachelor’s Degree with Design experience
Work Experience - All relevant work experience is a plus
Computer Knowledge and Skills - Below is the list of the computer programs and software applications that are required for this position:
? Google Suite
? Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
? SketchUp
? CAD
? Revit
Certification or Licensure Requirements -
? Design Degree - looking to log hours and sit for Interior Design License
? Valid Florida Driver’s License
Additional Requirements -

§ Must have excellent English skills for communication with team
§ Secondary language is a plus
§ Must possess high level of creativity in design
§ Must demonstrate self-confidence, cumulative knowledge while working on projects
