We have a wonderful opportunity to join our CITY Furniture Commercial Sales team. As the Design Associate, the primary function of this position is hone design skills on a variety of projects that can include models, vacation rentals, staging to help design projects for large volume clients. The responsibilities of this position include producing unique interior designs for builders and developers to increase overall revenue for the showrooms and the company this role will provide organizational back-up for the Junior Designer on all aspects of interior design projects. This position is responsible for Assisting Junior/ Senior level designers with design projects, project templates, ordering samples and materials, and re-selection of design items. The Design Associate will also assist with providing sources, communication throughout the organization, space planning and preparing drawings. Qualifications Required

Education - Associate’s Degree in Design is required or Bachelor’s Degree with Design experience

Job Requirements - This position is required to work a flexible 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. The position also requires travel to job sites, showrooms, visits to builder’s models and projects. Must have reliable transportation and a Valid Florida Driver’s License

Work Experience and Skills -

  • Design experience,
  • Design degree or pending design degree (looking to log hours and sit for interior design license,)
  • Innovative, showing high level of creativity in design
  • Great decision-making skills,

Computer Knowledge -
