CITY Services Leader
The primary function of the CITY SERVICES LEADER is to provide overall leadership for the CITY Services Business Units (CITY Interiors, Free Design, CITY Staging, CITY Moves). This CITY SERVCES LEADER is responsible for the continued implementation of the departmental management system across all of the business units. This leadership role collaborates with cross functional leadership to ensure the highest execution on BU initiatives. This role is also responsible for direct leadership, coaching and mentoring the leaders of the individual business units.
Conducts daily standups with the business unit leaders to ensure management system implementation, discuss KPI’s and ensure that CITY’s values are being practiced. Conducts quarterly Individual Development Plans with their direct reports to grow their department and "raise the tide" of talent around them.
Strategic guidance for CITY Services
Work with VP of Business Development to ensure competitive advantages across the BU’s in the area of technology, value propositions, promotions and cross departmental offerings.
Ensures standardization of processes, adherence to the standard across the business units, creation of KPI’s and other performance metrics. This position will also own the implementation of new technologies and CRM tools.
This position will be responsible for planning and forecasting Monthly/Yearly forecasts for both revenues and the appropriate staffing levels for all business units.
Business Relationship Development
Seek out and secure new partnerships within the community to do collaborations with. This position will also be required to plan and attend trade conventions both locally and across the
This position reports directly to the VP of Business Development and is a member of the CITY Services team.
Financial Transaction Responsibilities
This position is responsible for preparing financial transactions for approval by others and reconciling financial transactions.
Decision Making Responsibilities
This position is responsible for making decisions regarding scheduling workflow, developing alternate solutions, and adjusting deadlines and budgets. Consulting with others to make decisions regarding changing design intent is a a key responsibility of this position.
Work Environment Summary
This position is required to work a flexible 45 plus hour work week, in a corporate office environment, remote, at showrooms, at project sites, at clients’ design centers and vendor showrooms.
