We have wonderful opportunity to join City Furniture's Accounting Department as an Area Asset Protection Manager.

The primary purpose of this position is to protect company assets by conducting training/awareness visits, initiate and direct investigations to closure, complete physical security assessments and facilitate shrink reduction strategies. This role will build effective partnerships with Sales, Operations, Human Resources and Safety while supporting corporate initiatives that align with the company values.

This is a field-based position that requires a 40-hour work week, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday, with availability to respond to high-priority matters that may occur during evenings and weekends.  The position requires limited light lifting.  Travel to showrooms and distribution centers within assigned area and overnight travel is required.

Job Requirements

Education - Bachelor’s degree or 5 years or more experience in asset management required

5 years or more in an asset protection multi-store capacity

Licensure Requirement

  • Wicklander & Zulawski certification required
  • Certified Fraud Investigator preferred
  • Certified Fraud Examiner preferred

Computer Knowledge and Skills

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • SQL knowledge required, certification preferred

Other Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
  • Extensive experience in conducting internal interviews
  • Vast experience in a retail-specialty environment
