Our Visual Merchandising Coordinator is responsible to maintain the overall aesthetic of the showroom and ensure the showroom is merchandised to company standards. The position requires a strong creative ability and attention to detail to implement appealing product displays and translate home accents concepts within showroom environments

The Visual Merchandising Coordinator position will also help drive business results through effective merchandising and the timely transition of product, maximizing real estate to support creative brand strategy and messaging.

Job Requirements

Reviews and executes floor plan notes to facilitate product transitions, implements product changes and maintains merchandising standards.

  • Manages receiving, unpacking and tagging of accessories. Ensures all home accents are labeled and tagged for sale.

  • Maximizes sales of all product categories through optimal visual display of merchandise. Meets with General Manager to review showroom needs and planned product changes and moves.

  • Prepares for showroom inventory counts. Reviews inventory variances and assists with reconciling.

  • Communicates with Merchandise Planning and Visual Leadership on product placement,

 

Qualifications Required

 

Education - High school diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree recommended

 

Work Experience - One to five years of Visual Merchandising experience within a retail environment preferred

 

Computer Knowledge and Skills - Below is the list the computer programs and software applications that are required for this position:

 

  • AS400
  • General PC
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • View and understand Computer-aided design (CAD) drawings
