Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity to join our CITY Furniture Merchandising team. As the merchandising coordinator, the primary function of this position is to coordinate and support the merchandising team in product transitions and initiatives within City Furniture and Ashley Furniture Home Store. This position is required to be detail oriented and an analytical thinker with an aptitude for working collaboratively on multiple projects and building relationships across the organization.

This position is also responsible to help drive business results through product marketing initiatives for both City and Ashley brands. This position is also responsible for creating the promotional product for each umbrella and door buster event per the marketing calendar for both City & Ashley brands, working with buyers to confirm paperwork. You will work with merchandising colleagues to confirm audits of the tags. You will maintain to the log of inquiries via concrete database system to ensure timely turn around on store requests. You will monitor email distribution and buyer requests of tags that need to be edited.

Job Requirements

Education - Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline preferred

Work Experience - 1-2 years of related experience of visual merchandising, database management, in store sales

Computer Knowledge - Below is the list the computer programs and software applications that are required for this position:

  • Microsoft Office Applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, InDesign
