City Furniture has a wonderful opportunity to join our team as an E-commerce Merchandising Manager. The E-commerce Merchandising Manager is responsible for the selection of products for sale on and any future websites created under the City Furniture e-commerce platform. This position will be responsible for achieving a gross margin and sales target as well as working with the supply chain team to meet supply chain inventory turn and in-stock targets. This position will be responsible for working with the category buyers to market their initiatives online and will be primarily responsible for merchandising deliverables in relation to email marketing. This position is ultimately responsible for overall web assortment (including drop ship) and ensuring that all merchandising strategies being executed in-store translate online to provide an Omni channel experience. The position will also have responsibility over assorting the calendar of e-commerce promotional sales events and reviewing with management for buy in and approval.

Job Requirements

Our E-commerce Merchandising Manager works with buyers and e-commerce team to effectively market products online through adapting marketing campaigns to achieve Omni channel online experience. In addition, the E-commerce Merchandising Manager Selects products for sale on, travels to markets to select products and work with vendors, develops products for sale with the buying team, determines pricing for online only and drop ship items, manages sale calendar for e-commerce, selects products effectively for email, social media, and digital display ads. Selects products featured on our website including but not limited to the home page, landing page, and editorial content.


Education - Bachelor’s degree is required


Work Experience - Prior buying, merchandise & supply chain management experience is required. Must have direct work experience in e-commerce merchandising. Must have desire to work in a collaborative, cross-functional, fast paced, goal oriented environment where creativity in getting things done is valued. Must have strong negotiation skills and a record of success in negotiations.
