Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity to join our CITY Furniture Digital Team. As the Digital eCommerce Product Manager, the primary function of this position is to translate the eCommerce business needs to identify and help implement new features and platforms that will aggressively scale City Furniture’s website. This position is also responsible for conducting competitive research and analysis to develop the product roadmap, work with internal customers of eCommerce to capture business requirements and processes. The Digital eCommerce Product Manager will also develop use cases, gather requirements, develop acceptance criteria, review wireframes, conduct user acceptance testing and implement.

The Digital eCommerce Product Manager’s first 90 days will include a detailed new hire orientation, initial training plan, and a personalized development plan to help you reach your career goals.

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required

Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Information Technology Preferred.

Work Experience - Three (3) to Five (5) years of related experience in business analysis or product ownership, preferably with a focus on web/eCommerce projects.

Computer Knowledge and Skills - Below is the list of computer programs, skills and concepts that are ideal for this position:

  • Microsoft Office(Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Google G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
  • Project Management Software (Such as MS Project)
  • Collaboration Tools (Zoom, Slack, InVision)
  • Atlassian JIRA(or similar)
  • Web design concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Additional Skills-

  • Experience capturing requirements for web platform, features or application development
  • Experience in test planning and execution and training documentation and execution preferred
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills; strong attention to detail; strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation and interview skills; strong organizing and planning skills with proven ability to multi-task; analysis and problem-solving skills; negotiation skills; ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across business and technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to organize workload, multitask, think analytically, solve technical problems, and establish relationships across business and IT/development team members
  • Must be a self-starter showing a high level of initiative. Positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment sharing ideas, workflow, technologies, and processes
  • Experience with agile development practices is a plus
  • Experience with project management is a plus
