Position Title:    Facilities Building Custodian

 

Department:      Facilities Department

 

Reports To:        Senior Facilities Manager

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintains cleanliness of Corporate Offices by performing routine cleaning functions, such as dusting furniture, walls, cabinets; sweeping, mopping, waxing and buffing floors; vacuuming carpets; disposing of trash; cleaning restrooms and cleaning windows

     

  • Identifies necessary repairs and reports them to the Senior Facilities Manager

     

  • Provides total customer satisfaction through interaction with associates in other departments

     

  • Conducts on-the-job training for new associates

     

  • Completes other duties as assigned

     

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required:

 

  • Good communication skills

     

  • Previous custodial/janitorial experience

     

  • Flexibility to work weekday evening and Saturday morning shift

     

 

 

Qualifications Preferred:

 

  • Fluent English/Spanish

     

 

 

Other:

 

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position - heavy lifting required
