Job Description

City Furniture has a wonderful opportunity in your area for our Commercial sales department as a Commercial Sales Business Development Manager. The Commercial Sales Business Development Manager’s primary function is to The primary function of this position is to strategically increase commercial sales revenue for the department derived from new business accounts and relationships. The position will meet with new vacation rental companies, builders for custom models and model packages developers and builders for large furniture sales.

Responsibilities:

Our Commercial Sales Business Development Manager meets with new customers to start, build, and maintain relationships in order to drive sales. Maintains strong relationships in our service area with customers. Negotiates prices, closes contracts, and sales. This position will get the leads generated from the data provided by our Business Analyst. Creatively contacts new business leads in order to gain appointments and drive business. Attends trade shows, community events, builder sales contests, and other events that allow networking opportunity to build new relationships with potential customers. The analysis of monthly budgets and sales forecasts is a requirement along with assisting in goal setting as well as helping determine progress to Hoshin goals.

Job Requirements

Education - Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred

 

Licensure Requirement- Valid Driver’s License Required. Position .is 100% travel. (Road Warrior)

 

Work Experience -

  • Minimum of five (5) years of outside sales experience required, preferably in a related industry
  • Minimum of one (1) year real-estate, interior design or related industry experience is preferred

 

Computer Knowledge and Skills - Below is the list of the computer programs, software applications that are required for this position:

 

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • AS/400 preferred
  • Director preferred
