CITY MOVES MOVING CONSULTANT
What This Role Is…
As a CITY Moves Moving Consultant, the primary function of this position is to consult with Customers, provide
accurate move estimates, and close sales opportunities. The CITY Moves Moving Consultant is also responsible
for supporting Customers throughout the moving process, entering job details into CITY Furniture systems, and
ensuring every move is set up for success. Your contributions will ensure the success of CITY Moves team at
CITY Furniture.
Position Title: CITY Moves Moving Consultant
Reports To: Senior Manager of CITY Moves
Location: Tamarac Corporate Office - Onsite
Department/Sub-Department: Retail Operations/ CITY Services
What You’ll Do…
As a CITY Moves Moving Consultant, your primary responsibilities will be to:
● Engage with Customers to understand their moving needs and provide tailored solutions (40%)
● Prepare accurate estimates, explain pricing policies, and collect deposits & remaining balances (15%)
● Enter job details into CITY Moves systems (CRM, Microsoft, and G Suite) (15%)
● Partner with Operations and Customer Care to ensure accurate scheduling and seamless Customer
experience (10%)
Additional duties and responsibilities as a CITY Moves Moving Consultant:
● Supports CITY Furniture Sales teams with move-related Customer inquiries (10%)
● Proactively follows up on leads to maximize conversion rates (5%)
● Provides outstanding Customer service and resolves issues promptly (5%)
● Adheres to all assigned Standard Work and Role and Responsibilities for your role.

What’s Required…
• Education & Work Experience:
o High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
o 1 to 3 years of Sales, Customer Service, or related experience preferred
Work Environment & Schedule:
o Sunday through Thursday, with flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed
o 40-hour work week
o Minimal travel (<5%) for showroom and Customer visits
• Physical Requirements:
o Prolonged sitting and standing
o Use of computer and phone
• Technology Requirements:
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
o Experience with CRM platforms (SmartMoving, SuperMove, or equivalent)
Certifications / Licenses
o Valid Florida Driver’s License
