Job Description

City Furniture has an exciting new opportunity to join our Senior Leadership team as a Chief Revenue Officer.  The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will oversee all sales and business development operations for our City Furniture and Ashley HomeStore showrooms, as well as the Commercial Sales department, and  develops its sales strategy and vision. This includes revenue generation by securing new customers and expanding opportunities within the current customer base through various Sales and Customer Experience initiatives.

Included in this role is the responsibility for directing and managing market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, distribution and channel strategies. This goal is achieved by providing leadership toward the achievement of maximum growth in line with the company’s vision and values.

    • Provides clear, concise and fantastic communication to the Sales Organization and rest of City Furniture
    • Provides data and analysis necessary to support financial reporting and planning functions for the company
  • Creates a Problem-Solving Culture within Sales
    • Sets individual and organization wide goals, objectives and targets for sales to support the overall economics of the company and works fanatically to help the leaders and sub-departments problem solve to achieve those goals
    • Develops and manages KPI’s to monitor performance of sales efforts against targets and rewards and recognizes outstanding performance
    • Results oriented through the execution of solving problems to get to goals
    • Creates a culture where all associates can give ideas to improve our business
  • Creates a Culture of Accountability, Recognition & Tons of Fun!
    • Enforces standards throughout the sales department that are critical to the way we run the business, the customer experience and community

Qualification/Skills Required

Job Requirements


Bachelor’s Degree in business or other related field required, MBA preferred

5+ year’s experience in Executive Sales Leadership positions
