Sales Associate - City Furniture

Job Description
Customer Service (Face to Face) - Utilize the opportunity system for Customer interactions, and perform the sales cycle with World Class Service throughout. Greet and welcome Customers. Present and demonstrate products. Discuss features and benefits. Offer all available services (i.e., In-Home Warranty, Fabric Protection, etc.). Close the sale. Process orders (i.e., create invoice, schedule deliveries, provide finance options, etc.). Answer in-store phone calls and assist Customers with questions and concerns. Personal Business Development - Initiate contact with non-purchasing Customers during promotions and special events. Perform Personal Business Development strategies (i.e., send cards, etc.). Follow-up with Customers who make appointments and ensure they maintain the appointments. Contact previous customers to sell related or additional products. Generate leads through personal efforts outside of the store environment.Customer Account Management - Monitor sales and advise Customers of any changes. Resolve Customer issues. Provide Customers with after sale follow-up. Perform Customer retention strategies (i.e., thank you cards, after sale calls, etc.). Monitor the back-order list and update Customers accordingly. Document and report Customer relationship management activities via information technology systemsProfessional Development - Obtain certifications and training related to job performance and product knowledge within specified period of time. Use the online Learning Management System (LMS) to obtain knowledge and to development. Attend Instructor Lead Training (ILT) sessions to obtain knowledge and to development. Review products added too the showroom floor. Perform Sales Administrative Duties - Perform the responsibilities necessary to open and close a store. Maintain price tagging. Maintain a clean and organized store environment. Maintain showroom merchandizing and supplies. Review and update voice mail. Sign on and off of the Opportunity System. Review sales performance.Team Involvement - Cooperate with all Associates to ensure the success of the store. Mentor new Sales Associates. Attend Ultimate Update meetings to align personal and team efforts to the overall goals of the company.Performance Results - Obtain pre-determined Sales Goal expectations on a monthly basis. Obtain pre-determined performance expectations in all profit categories (i.e., In-Home Warranty, Fabric Protection, Finance Applications, etc.). Obtain pre-determined performance expectations in Customer satisfaction scores (i.e., Mystery Shopper Surveys, How Do We Rates, role-play feedback from Management Team, etc.).
